Bigger is better: it is obviously the motto of LG which announced the commercial launch of its 97-inch OLED television, quite simply the largest in this category!
Make room and push the walls: the evo Gallery Edition 97G2 will soon be on sale. LG announced during IFA that this giant 97-inch (!) OLED TV will indeed be marketed in all of its markets this year. Launch dates will be announced in the coming weeks. The manufacturer’s range of OLED televisions therefore has an additional size, after the 42, 48, 55, 65, 77, 83 and 88 inch formats.
A monster on the wall
OLED technology is well known to lovers of beautiful images. It makes it possible to obtain absolute blacks, and for good reason since the self-emissive pixels can be deactivated on demand. The color reproduction is also of excellent quality, without forgetting the infinite contrasts which allow you to really take your eyes away.
The 97G2 model incorporates the fifth generation Alpha 9 processor. The latter uses artificial intelligence to broadcast realistic and immersive images. This television is also compatible with Gallery Design, it is supplied with a wall hook, the whole being designed to integrate harmoniously into a living room. And give the impression of a home cinema!
The TV runs webOS 22, so it’s fully equipped to access streaming services and other dedicated apps. In addition, the Always Ready function displays information on the screen when the user asks a question. This monster should cost €25,000!
LG also took advantage of the IFA to present the 88-inch Signature OLED 8K (88Z2), an 86-inch QNED TV (86QNED99) as well as a 136-inch 4K Micro LED model! The manufacturer has not announced prices or availability for these televisions.
