a collector controller in the colors of God of War Ragnarök

Sony unveils a DualSense worthy of a god of war, to celebrate the release of God of War Ragnarök in November.

Major collectors will love this news. Sony is preparing its first limited edition collector controller since the release of the PS5. The DualSense already boasts several colors to its name, as well as a brand new camouflage pattern and a pro version with the DualSense Edge. But this time, the firm is taking advantage of the event release of one of its games to revamp its little accessory.

Next November 9 will be released on PS4 and PS5 God of War Ragnarok, the next installment in the adventures of Kratos and Atreus. To celebrate the arrival of this highly anticipated game, Sony is pulling out all the stops and presenting its very first limited edition collector’s controller for PS5. The DualSense is adorned with blue and white, and even finds an animal motif to stick to the universe of the game.

The design remains simple, and Sony applies a fairly neutral blue color to the handles of its controller as well as to the back. On the touchpad, there is a small wolf, representing Atreus, and a bear which is the symbol of Kratos. A pattern that reminds us of one of the central themes of God of War Ragnaroknamely the father-son relationship of the two characters which is likely to experience some difficulties along the way.

Between paternal duty and saving humanity, the god of war is faced with an unprecedented situation that will undoubtedly have significant repercussions for the rest of his life and that of his son. Already in the previous opus, Atreus himself faced the difficulties of puberty, as the young man tries to gain respect from his father and prove to himself that he is capable of great things.

Price and availability

The DualSense god of war will be available for sale on the same day as the game itself, namely the November 9 next.
