Andor, the next Star Wars series is finally revealed on video

It’s not just Marvel and the MCU that are making a splash on Disney+. The streaming service also has another very famous franchise whose fans are impatiently awaiting each new series: we are obviously talking to you about Star Wars which is soon back on Disney+ with “ Andor “. The new intergalactic series has been unveiled in a promising first trailer.

The birth of the Rebellion

As you will have understood, “Andor” is a prequel to the film “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”. Released in theaters four years ago, the feature film had received excellent reviews. The fans and the media had particularly adored the character of Cassian Andor and it is with pleasure that they find him in his own series. In “Andor,” we witness the birth of the Rebellion as the Empire continues its ruthless conquest of worlds across the galaxy.

The story takes place 5 years before the events of “Rogue One”. We follow Cassian Andor who joins the Rebel Alliance and manages to infiltrate the Galactic Empire. In the trailer, we can see that the hero is determined to bring down the enemy, no matter if it means giving his life.

A trailer that inspires

Star Wars fans already know how the adventure will end for Cassian Andor. The series, however, promises an interesting story full of twists and turns for those who want to know how the character got there. In addition, the trailer also promises to follow other characters, especially in the very heart of the imperial senate where many plots are hatched. The fans are really delighted and can’t wait to see what it will give!

In the cast, we have Diego Luna reprising his role as Cassian Andor. The rest of the cast is made up of Stellan Skarsgård, Adria Arjona, Anton Valensi, Fiona Shaw, Denise Gough, Kyle Soller, Alex Lawther, but also Genevieve O’Reilly as Mon Mothma and Forest Whitaker as Saw Gerrera.

Andor will consist of 12 episodes. The first 3 episodes arrive on Disney+ on September 21, 2022.
