It needs no introduction: every month, insider billbil-kun posts his new leaks, almost always proven, on the selections of games to come for the Playstation Plus. Three new titles are planned for Sony’s subscription service, all playable on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
There will be cooperative multiplayer, deck-building, but also licensed games… With a well-known star from the depths of the sea. May 3, 2022. All of this information is reported to us by the Dealabs site.
Bob, the Tower, and the Hood on April’s PlayStation+ Schedule
It is therefore Hood: Outlaws & Legends which opens the ball for the month of April. Focus Home Interactive’s TPS pits two teams of four very popular robbers against each other in a race for the perfect heist, all in a Robin Hood-style medieval universe. Note that this is the only game in the monthly selection to benefit from a native version intended for the next-gen.
In a whole different kind of delirium, Slay the Spire will fill the indie quota for next April. A qualitative choice, for sure: the title from the MegaCrit studio mixes roguelike and deck-building for an oh so addictive and engaging experience. After building his deck of cards, the player will have to climb a tower strewn with pitfalls, traps and various and varied enemies. Every fight is a matter of life and death, and the tower’s procedurally generated structure ensures that no game will look like the last.
Finally, April’s latest PS+ game couldn’t be more different from the rest of the selection. This is the remaster of Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Rehydrated Bikini Bottom, the PS2 generation platform game, which will close the march next month. The title of Purple Lamp Studios proposes to embody three of the most famous characters of the cartoon (Bob, Patrick and Sandy) in an adventure which will oppose them to Plankton and his robotic army. A new multiplayer mode, playable for two locally and online, is also part of the game.
