After weeks of waiting, Blizzard decides to formalize the first real Warcraft mobile game, and unveils its roadmap for Hearthstone.
A few weeks ago, Activision Blizzard’s financial report told us that a mobile game from the Warcraft franchise would arrive on mobiles by the end of this year. The studio officially lifts the veil on this news, confirming in a press release that such a project will be presented in the coming weeks. If at the moment we don’t know anything about it yet, it will be presented in more detail by May.
” Beyond World of Warcraft and Hearthstone, we’re getting ready to bring the first game in the Warcraft universe made for mobile into your hands. »

Besides this good news, Blizzard also announces some new features for two of its favorite games. For Hearthstone first, details about the first expansion of the year will be revealed on March 15th. In total, three expansions are planned for 2022 and Blizzard declares open the first season of Hearthstone Grandmasters.
Secondly, the studio will unveil the next expansion for World of Warcraft on April 19. For the moment, we have no information about this expansion, so Blizzard is playing the mystery card. However, the studio is confident for the future of its franchise, which continues to export beyond the original game, already 28 years old. It ends on a positive note:
” The future of Warcraft is bright. On behalf of everyone at Blizzard who works to bring you even more exciting Warcraft experiences, we thank you for being part of the community. We are excited for the journey ahead of us and grateful that you join us. »
