While the eyes of the world are on the West Coast, Bose is taking advantage of the East Coast to announce its new headphones, the QuietComfort Earbuds II.
Fresh from its new partnership with Qualcomm announced last week atIFA 2022 Berlin, Bose is taking advantage of the same day as Apple and its new iPhone 14 to launch its new wireless headphones, the QuietComfort Earbuds II Where QC Earbuds II for the close friends.
If there is one thing that cannot be taken away from Bose, is that it remains the brand that invented noise reduction headphones. Nowadays, the competition is more than tough insofar as there is no shortage of competitors, both in the world of headphones and earphones. Also, to stand out from the competition, Bose counts on its sound calibration technology, Bose CustomTune, to stand out from its direct competitors.
Bose CustomTune and ActiveSense technologies
Put simply, the QC Earbuds II are able to customize audio and noise reduction performance to the shape of each ear, which, according to Bose, results in a listening experience unique to each user and reduced super effective noise reduction. This Bose CustomTune technology offers automatic customization each time the headphones are removed from their case and placed in users’ ears. Thanks to a microphone inside the earpiece, the technology is able to measure the acoustic response of the user’s ear canal and thus precisely adapt the audio and noise reduction performance.
There is also the Aware mode with ActiveSense. According to Bose, this mode provides increased transparency for sound that is as natural and realistic as possible. Besides, the Active Sense technology is able to apply the right noise reduction and this, according to each user. This is possible thanks to the 4 microphones in each earphone (one inside and three outside). In any case, according to the American firm, the QC Earbuds II would now offer the best active noise cancellation on the market. We can’t wait to test.
