Call of Duty Vanguard offloaded a mode on Xbox Series S / X

Players Call of Duty Vanguard on Xbox Series S / X, you will have to mourn, temporarily, a new mode thus withdrawn from these platforms. The reason: crashes observed here and apparently not elsewhere.

With the standardization of gaming platforms, which tend for the most part to take the form of a PC, one could imagine that this kind of problem would disappear. And yet. While available on many machines, it is only on Xbox Series S / X that Call of Duty: Vanguard has the unfortunate tendency to surrender in a certain game mode.

It was on Monday, November 29, 2021, at the end of the day, that Sledgehammer Games confirmed the information. On the social network Twitter, the developers of Call of Duty: Vanguard shared an update to the game’s playlist.

Call of Duty Vanguard: Champion of the Hill mode is problematic on Xbox Series

Here is what Sledgehammer Games started by announcing regarding these famous playlist updates:

  • Ship Haus 24/7
  • Big Map Blitz
  • Bloodshed
  • Carnage
  • Champion Hill Duos
  • Champion Hill Trios

The celebrations are not for everyone, however, at least for the time being. In a second publication to supplement the first, the developers thus indicate problems related to the Champion of the Hill mode (Champion Hill) on certain consoles:

“We have removed Champion Hill on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S while we investigate this mode’s crash issues.”

These problems would have appeared on Monday, precisely following the latest update to the playlist. These are not the first stability concerns encountered by users of Call of Duty: Vanguard. We are reminded that last week, similar crashes led Sledgehammer Games to deactivate the “Secrets of the Pacific” event. The latter had been launched just a few hours earlier. What if, like Denuvo, the culprit would be the new security software that can even ban a cheater from the entire Call of Duty series?
