Cowboy Bebop gets a trailer ahead of its Netflix release

In a little less than a month, Netflix will revive one of the most popular animes of the 90s. The live-action version of Cowboy Bebop offers a last trailer, jazzy, funny and above all very muscular.

November 19 will mark the return of the Bebop crew on our screens. More than 20 years after the original series, Netflix offers it a live-action adaptation that promises to pay homage to the intrigues imagined by Keiko Nobumoto in 1998, while attracting a new audience. This series created by Josh Appelbaum, André Nemec, Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg should offer new story arcs and include some elements of the past of each of the characters.

Halfway between science fiction and spaghetti western, Cowboy Bebop follows the adventures of three bounty hunters who travel through space in search of juicy contracts. Spike Spiegel, Faye Valentine and Jet Black will roam the solar system aboard the Bebop and search for criminals, while confronting the ghosts of their past. These new images also mention a past romance of Spike, which should be at the heart of the plot of this first season.

A promising trio

To embody the top three, Netflix called on John Cho (Searching: Missing Litter), Mustafa Shakir (American gods) and Daniella Pineda (Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom). They will all give the answer to Elena Satine (Twin Peaks: The Return), in the shoes of Julia, Geofff Stults (The Finder) in that of Chalmers and Tamara Tunie (Blue bloods) who embodies Ana.

Behind the camera, Alex Garcia Lopez and Michael Katleman will direct the 10 episodes of this first season. The first is not also his first collaboration with the N rouge since he has directed several episodes of the series. Daredevil as well as The Witcher. As for Michael Katleman, he put in pictures some episodes of the series Zoo.

The original series also available

A few months after its first arrival on Netflix, the original series returns to the Netflix catalog. It has been available for a few days and allows you to refresh your ideas before the release of the live-action production. Otherwise, Netflix gives us an appointment November 19 to discover the Bebop crew in the flesh.
