Crytek studio has great news for fans!

The studio behind the Crysis franchise announces the launch of a fourth opus. All info about Crysis 4.

On January 26, the Chinese media spotted a leak from the Crytek studio. Known for his shooter Crysis, the news made the rounds of the internet, proclaiming that a new one would soon complete the franchise, 9 years after the release of Crysis 3 on PS3. Indeed, only a few hours later, the studio confirmed the news. Crysis 4 is well under development in the Crytek studios.

In a press release, the studio would first like to thank its fans, who have followed the evolution of Crysis during all its years of production, and which have not dropped their interest even after so many years. At the moment, we don’t know anything about Crysis 4, on its content, its gameplay or even its official name. All you can see is a blurry image and a succinct announcement trailer, images that say very little on their own. The studio explains:

As of now, the game is still in the early stages of development, so there will be a bit of a wait, but we wanted to break the news to you right now, as we are very excited for the future, and you let it be known that we will listen to our community.

As development progresses, we will release more details as soon as we can. But in the meantime, know that our dedicated and talented team is working hard to bring you a truly next-gen shooter. »

See you in a while!

Crytek is also taking advantage of the moment to make a rather subtle recruitment announcement. The fact that the next part of Crysis still understaffed so proves to us that the game is still in its infancy. It will therefore be necessary to wait a few years at least before the project really takes shape and is available on consoles and/or PC. While waiting to discover the fourth opus of the franchise, why not redo the first three?

Indeed, not so long ago, Crytek released the remastered trilogy Crysis on many media, namely PC, PlayStation consoles, Xbox and Nintendo Switch. Between visual improvements, graphics, and unified gameplay, you have all the keys in hand to enjoy a triumphant return to the shooters that marked an entire generation.
