After WandaVision, Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki and Hawkeye, it’s Moon Knight’s turn to get his own series on Disney+. The first episode of the series will air this Wednesday, March 30, 2022 on the American streaming platform.

Ahead of the arrival of the show, Disney+ and Marvel Studios took advantage Oscars 2022 to unveil a new short trailer dedicated to the character. The sequence was notably broadcast on the American channel ABC, during the ceremony.

New Moon Knight Video Reveals Marc Spector’s Past

The promotional video focuses mainly on the previous identity of Steven Grant, mercenary and adventurer Marc Spector. The character, embodied by the excellent Oscar Isaac, struggles to remember his previous existence, before the intervention of Khonsu, the Egyptian god of the Moon.

Layla, a young woman who knew Marc Spector in her previous life, speaks to Steven Grant in order to bring back the memories. “You really don’t remember? Our adventures, or our life together?”, worries Layla. Beset by nightmares and visions, Grant replies: “I would like to. I don’t know how to explain what is happening. I can’t tell the difference between life and dreams”.

Obviously, the series will dwell at length on the adventures of Marc Spector, especially in Egypt. These adventures will probably be at the heart of the dreams that torment Steven Grant. In the video, we also see the big bad of the show, Dr. Arthur Harrow (Ethan Hawke). Most of the action images were already present in the previous spots.
