It’s not one but two pairs of wireless headphones that LG has unveiled. And among these summer novelties, there is a world first!
More discreet than Apple’s AirPods or Samsung’s Buds, LG’s Tone Free range is worth a look. In particular on the novelties of the 2022 edition, which has several very interesting functions! The Fit TF8Q model has been designed for the most athletic with IP67 certified waterproofing (resistance to one meter of water for 30 minutes). The headphones are even washable.
A box to do everything
This model also incorporates noise reduction, with several modes that are activated with a click on an earphone: a listening or transparency mode that allows you to hear the environment around you, and a conversation mode focused on the surrounding voices .
Autonomy is 10 hours, plus an additional 20 hours thanks to the transport case. A box that also incorporates two new bonuses, first an LED light that reduces the volume of bacteria on the headphones by 99.99%! And it is possible to connect it to an audio source with a jack cable, such as a treadmill for example: it will then transmit the sound to the headphones. The TF8Q are supplied with three pairs of silicone tips, and their wings allow a good hold in the ear.
The second model emphasizes audio quality: the T90Q are indeed the first headphones to integrate the official Dolby Atmos. In fact, the AirPods (and other models) are just as capable of immersing the user in a sound bubble, but they have not received official certification. The T90Q can also follow the movement of the head, which fixes the emission of the sound on the source.
Again, these headphones include active noise cancellation, bacteria suppression with the case and the function of listening to an external source by plugging the case into it. The battery is 9 hours for the headphones, plus 20 hours with the case. LG says it will launch in September, priced at $199.99 (TF8Q) and $229.99 (T90Q).
