Microsoft Flight Simulator is now accessible on Xbox One, as well as from the web and on iOS and Android devices thanks to xCloud. The game was previously reserved for Xbox Series X/S and Windows PCs.
Microsoft Flight Simulator lands on new media
Here are some of the perks listed by Microsoft that you will enjoy when playing flight simulator via Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud):
- Microsoft Flight Simulator can now be played on Xbox One. Many of you have asked us. You can launch the simulator from your Xbox home to dive into a high-definition experience at 1080p and 30 frames per second. Now you can explore the planet from any compatible device and take off instantly since no prior installation is required.
- Beyond consoles, you can also play Microsoft Flight Simulator on compatible phones and tablets, but also on compatible PCs with insufficient configuration. Bluetooth controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller are also compatible.
- The multiplayer experience is identical to that present on PC and Xbox Series X/S, which allows everyone to share the same airspace, regardless of the device used.
- World I-VI updates are streamed automatically for everyone, and you’ll be able to find all of your Xbox Series X/S purchases as well as the entire Xbox Online Store.
As a reminder, the infrastructure of Xbox Cloud Gaming (xCloud) has been based for a few months on Xbox Series X. This allows Microsoft to offer better gaming experiences, including that of the day.
