Games of the month for March 2022

Mars is slowly but surely showing the tip of its nose—so it’s time for the traditional announcement of the games soon to be “offered” to subscribers to the Playstation Plus, Sony’s subscription service. Unusual program for this monthly selection, 4 games will be offered for free download instead of 3. The titles will be available from next March 1st until April 4th.

Ghostrunner, the first-person platformer and parkour game, kicks off the March festivities. Note, however, that despite its crossgen nature, Ghostrunner will only be offered in its PlayStation 5 version. Older generation players will therefore not be able to enjoy the game from Slipgate Ironworks.

With your blade in hand, perform parkour tricks to climb a huge urban tower in this intense and lightning-fast first-person adventure game. Slash your enemies with your monomolecular katana, dodge bullets with your superhuman reflexes and employ a variety of techniques to prevail. One-hit kill mechanics make fights intense and fast-paced. Use your superior mobility (and plenty of checkpoints!) to wage an eternal and fearless battle against death.

PlayStation Now invites Sonic and the Samurai

Because running in all directions can end up wearing out, Team Sonic Racing features go-kart sessions featuring Sonic and his entire cast of unwanted friends. The Sumo Digital title is offered in its only PlayStation 4 version, also playable in backward compatibility on Sony’s next-gen.

This is also the case for Ark: Survival Evolvedgame couldn’t be more different from the latter—the famous survival MMO drops the player on a mysterious island, with the sole purpose of coping with the local nature and dinosaurs.

At last, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is described as the “bonus game” of this monthly selection, usually standing at 3 games. Available for both PS4 players, but also PS5, Ghost of Tsushima: Legends is the standalone version of the multiplayer mode of the eponymous action-adventure game, normally sold for around twenty euros in dematerialized version on the PlayStation Store. Four classes are playable in four different game modes, ranging from PvP to PvE.
