Gran Turismo 7: the next update will rebalance racing gains

It is an understatement to say that the 1.08 update of GT7 aroused the ire of the players. The increase in the price of most microtransactions and at the same time the decrease in race earnings made it extremely difficult for many players to obtain rare vehicles… unless they pulled out the credit card. After a metaranking in a tumble, Polyphony Digital finally reacted with a new apology statement from Kazunori Yamauchi and a small bonus of 1 million credits for each player who logs into GT7 before Monday, April 25, 2022.

Above all, the studio promises that the next update (deliverable at the beginning of April) will strongly rebalance the system of winnings in the race. The rewards will thus be doubled for the events of the second half of the Worlds Circuits and they will be increased for the online races. There will also be big rewards when completing the Circuit Experience (minimum results all Gold-Silver Bronze). 8 new Endurance Race events (again with significant payouts) will be available and the maximum limit of unpurchased credits will be increased in players’ wallets by 20M Cr. at 100M Cr. Better still, Polyphony promises to increase the amount of Used and Legend cars available at all times.

The studio also plans other future improvements (not in the next update), such as the addition of new circuits, new World Circuit events, new endurance races, time trials and Online, and finally … tadaaaaaam, the possibility of selling your cars!
