A report for the physical version of GTA Trilogy
On Twitter, Rockstarthan Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition in a physical version will now be released on December 17 for PlayStation and Xbox. This is a small postponement for the moment, the original release date was December 7th. On the other hand, there are obviously problems with the Switch version since the Nintendo console will only have the right to the physical version of the compilation comprising GTA 3, GTA: Vice City and GTA San Andreas for the beginning of 2022. There is no further clarification at this stage. Rockstar doesn’t explain what exactly is stuck with the Switch.
The release dates for the physical versions of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition have changed.
Xbox Series X / Xbox One and PS4 will now release on December 17. The Nintendo Switch version is coming in early 2022.

Why a delay in physical versions? The trilogy has already been available for digital purchase for a few weeks now and there have been a lot of bugs. Rockstar has released two updates already, including one this week. This fixes over 100 bugs on its own. The studio will continue to offer updates to improve the overall experience. We can therefore suspect that he added a delay to the release of the physical version to have time to correct as many bugs as possible.
