Stranger Things has just unveiled a new limited edition pop-up book. The ultimate gift for Upside Down fans.
Waiting for the release of the last season of Stranger Things, whose filming has just begun, fans of the Netflix saga will have to take their troubles patiently. The conclusion to the adventures of Eleven and the gang won’t air until next year, but there’s no shortage of merchandise celebrating the series. Between Lego sets, board games – including this Monopoly which spoiled part of the episodes – investigation games and video game crossovers, the phenomenon has long since exceeded the borders of the small screen.
Good news if you haven’t had enough yet, the Huginn & Muninn editions are back at the start of the school year with a ultimate collector pop-up book for fans. Offered in a very limited edition (only 3000 copies), this unpublished work will aim to recreate in three dimensions the universe of the small town of Hawkins, but also the terrible Upside Down. With its XXL format, its 5 giant pop-ups, and 29 leaflets, the Upside-Down Pop-Up by Matthew Reinhart already sounds like a must have for fans of the series.
Throughout the pages, it will thus be possible to find several emblematic places imagined by the Duffer brothers, such as the Starcourt shopping center, the Palace Arcade, but also the Byers castle. With publication scheduled for next september 16the Upside-Down Pop-Up from Huginn & Muninn should have no trouble finding its place on a shelf. The work of Kyle Lambert and Simon Arizpe on the illustrations and cutouts of the book is simply stunning, and recalls in particular the finesse of the MinaLima versions of the saga Harry Potter. Be careful though, you will probably have to act quickly to get it before it runs out of stock.
