Indiana Jones Actor Joins Season 2 Cast

Loki recruits a new ally, and he’s going to draw from Indiana Jones and the Goonies to do it.

Loki calls in reinforcements for his next adventure in the multiverse. The hero camped by Tom Hiddleston seems to be in the good graces of Marvel, he is for the moment the only one to have been entitled to a season 2 of his series on Disney +. This new burst of episodes should start filming very soon, so it’s time to bring back the actors, but also to recruit new ones. The House of Ideas took advantage of D23, a lounge dedicated to the Disney fanclub, to announce the arrival of Ke Huy Quan.

Currently showing at Everything, Everywhere, All at Oncethe American actor is best known for having played in some of the most iconic films of the 80s. He notably gave the reply to Harrison Ford in Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom ; the kid who helps Indy out of a mess at the start of the film is him. He also developed some very effective traps in The Goonies. He played Richard “Data” Wang in the Richard Donner film.

A role still kept secret

The plot details of this season are still very mysterious. We know that the screenwriters will have to pick up where we left off. It must be said that there is a lot to do, the season having ended on a huge cliffhanger. After crossing paths with the one who remains, Loki had watched helplessly as the main timeline collapsed. The doors of the multiverse were opened with loss and crash, the god of mischief had thus found himself projected into a parallel universe where no one knows him anymore.

He will no doubt have to make his way through different universes to find his reality. He can count on the help of Sylvie, camped by Sophia Di Martino and Owen Wilson in the skin of Mobius. Gugu Mbatha-Raw and Wumni Mosaku will also be on the trip. Moreover, we recently learned that Rafael Casal had just been recruited. Again, we do not know what score was given to him.

Behind the scenes, it is still Michael Waldron who leads the boat. The referent of the multiverse at Marvel, who worked on Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madnessshould thus pave the way for the next avengers. The Multiverse war is on, Loki will undoubtedly be a vital soldier in this battle.
