Le Château Sanglant, an immersive experience in the Château de Jossigny

Here we are selected as fans of the YouTuber Alixtrem to participate in the exploration of the castle of Jossigny where strange and unexplained phenomena take place. The appointment is given in the parking lot where a mysterious character explains to us that there is no news from the YouTuber who went in search of a treasure.

As fans determined to find our idol, we enter the castle, at the risk of being surprised by the guardian. After having withdrawn from its vigilance, we move gropingly in a deep darkness, lit by the flickering light of our torches. We find our poor Alixtrem tied up and completely panicked. The last riddles still have to be solved to find the castle’s treasure. But time is running out, the guard is on our feet!

Since July 2021, Deathscape, creator of tailor-made escape games, in partnership with the Center des monuments nationaux, has been offering “Château Sanglant”, a fun immersive experience in the heart of the Jossigny national domain.

Between Escape Game and immersive theater, teams of 4 to 8 players, guided or manhandled by 2 game masters, roam two floors of the castle for 1.5 hours, solving puzzles. This Escape Game for the general public takes place over more than 300m² of play space in the heart of a rare setting: rock-garden architecture, period furniture and centuries-old parquet floors.

More than an Escape Game or a haunted house, this game is worth the detour for its staging and its mysterious atmosphere, in a place steeped in history.
