Yesterday’s Nintendo Direct lifted the lid on many exciting games coming to Nintendo Switch. We recap the announcements.

The very first Nintendo Direct of the year was full of emotions. Contrary to rumors, no exclusive Mario Kart has been announced, but many other surprises that should delight Nintendo fans. We take stock of all the firm’s announcements, and we leave you with the full broadcast right here.

Nintendo Switch Sports

After Wii Sportshere is Nintendo Switch Sports ! Like its predecessor, adored by older generations, you can participate in half a dozen sporting disciplines, and compete with your friends or athletes from around the world. A seventh discipline will also be added next fall, and that is golf. Until then, see you on April 29 for the release of Nintendo Switch Sports.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Third installment of MONOLITHSOFT’s RPG, Xenoblade Chronicles 3 gets (almost) a release date. Nintendo announces that players will have to wait until September to get their hands on this brand new adventure centered around Noah and Mio.

Mario Strikers: Battle League Football

A new game mario is in preparation and it also promises to give us sports desires. The plumber is indeed getting into football with this new, somewhat special game. In teams 5 against 5, or 4 against 4 on the same console, all shots are allowed to score goals. Mario Strikers: Battle League Football is to be found on the console from June 10th.

Splatoon 3

Still no release date for this highly anticipated title, but a new look at its new gameplay mechanics and characters. Splatoon 3 is still planned for this summer on Nintendo Switch exclusively.

Kirby and the Forgotten World

The new Kirby game, after having found a release date for March 25, unveils a new trailer in which Kirby can transform into everything and especially anything! Can’t wait to discover this title controller in hand!

Taiko no Tatsujin: Rhythm Festival

A game that will give you a sense of rhythm! In this title, you will have to drum to the sounds of the many music available when the game is launched, including some titles that you know well; the orchestral version of the main theme of The Legend of Zelda to name just one. No release date yet, but a very colorful trailer in the meantime.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Additional Circuits Pass

No new Mario Kart on the horizon. And yet, it’s just like! Nintendo announces the arrival of 48 remastered circuits, from the entire series of games in the franchise. In total, the circuits will be divided into six packs of 8 each time, available at the price of €24.99 for the full pass and at no additional cost if you are a subscriber to the Nintendo Switch Online + Additional Pack.

The first races include the Wii Supermarché Coco, N64 Montagne Choco and Tour Traversée de Tokyo circuits, which will be accessible from March 18.

Metroid Dread

After its release on October 8, Metroid Dread finally gets a free update that introduces terror mode. As Nintendo explains: the slightest blow received is synonymous with game over “. Cuphead – The Delicious Last Course

In this iconic opus, you play as Darth Vader’s apprentice, and learn to use the force to accomplish your mission following the disappearance of the Jedi. Star Wars fans will have to wait until April 20 to rediscover this title on Switch.

Assassin’s Creed The Ezio Collection

It’s all in the name! Ubisoft’s classics will finally be accessible on Nintendo’s hybrid console in this trilogy which includes all the adventures of the famous Ezio Auditore da Firenze. To be discovered from February 17th.

Portal: Cubic Collection

The famous games developed by Valve will also land on Switch. In these titles, play with the dimensional portals to succeed in your mission. You can also rediscover the game with an online mode for the two games in the series.

MLB The Show 22

In the sports field, players on Switch will also be able to try baseball, one of the favorite sports of Americans. The game will be available from April 5 on the console.
