Meta Quest: the Avatars of Meta ready for Unity devs, and Among Us is coming to VR (trailer)

Meta just announced that the Meta Avatars (formerly Oculus Avatars 2.0) are now available for developers coding with the Unity renderer. Developers Unity can therefore use the Meta Avatar SDK in order to integrate the “standard” avatars of the Meta Quest in their applications, which should improve the standardization of avatars on the platform (some apps still have their own avatar creation tool).

Finally, note that the Meta Avatar SDK should be compatible with the engine Unreal Engine in the course of next year.

The Meta Quest info is also the first trailer the very popular Among Us… in its VR version! The multiplayer game from the studio Innersloth generated a huge buzz during the confinement period, the game mechanics (which favor small betrayals between friends) being conducive to a number of particularly funny situations. Among Us Vr will be available on PCVR (via Steam VR), PlayStation VR, and Meta Quest.
