Barrera has been appointed as head of game strategy, planning and analytics at Netflix. In his post on LinkedIn, one can read: I’m proud to join such a talented team and to be able to bring awesome new experiences to gamers around the world through the power of Netflix.».

Until recently head of corporate strategy for Sony PlayStation, Barrera had joined the latter as a senior analyst according togamesindustry.biz.

The now new head of games strategy at Netflix believes his profile is suited to the needs of the streaming platform in the video game industry.
