One-Punch Man finally returns for a well-deserved third season

Super powerful, super nice but above all super bald, Saitama embarks on new adventures on Crunchyroll.

Never two without three. That, Saitama has understood. We had to wait three years to finally have concrete news of the third season of the anime One-Punch Man. After a second season filled with epic fights of all kinds, it’s time for the bald superhero to make his comeback with great fanfare for the delight of anime fans. However, it will be necessary to be satisfied with a simple announcement without too many details for the moment.

Indeed, Crunchyroll did not especially put the small dishes in the big ones to announce the return of the cult hero. Probably for the sake of maintaining the hype and keeping a few secrets, the anime broadcaster was content to deliver some information. Season 3 of One-Punch Man is indeed in preparation, and this is already very good news. In addition, fans can see a cool poster showing Saitama and Garou, drawn by character designer from seasons one and two: Chikashi Kutoba. It is also the only member who signs his return for the moment while the broadcaster explains that he has not no information about the studio in charge of this new project.

A superhero like no other

For those who are still unfamiliar with One-Punch Man, this anime might just be the nugget you’ve been waiting for. Written by ONE, the creator of Mob Psycho 100, this webcomic-turned-manga tells the story of Saitama, a man who has trained so hard that he is now able to defeat every enemy with a single punch. Faced with the boredom of his unbeatable strength, the young hero goes in search of an opponent who will give him a hard time. It is possible to catch up on the first two seasons on Crunchyroll.

The work on paper is almost 200 chapters, so there is a lot to tell in the coming seasons. While waiting for the sequel to the superhero’s animated adventures to hit our screens, fans can also follow the strange live-action film project that is brewing in Hollywood. It is also Justin Lin who will take care of carrying out the project, after having proven himself on Fast and Furious or Star Trek Beyond. Suffice to say that the character of Saitama and his crazy universe have not finished talking about them.
