Paramount+ arrives in France in December 2022, the Halo series will be broadcast on Canal+ from March 24

Paramount+ has announced its arrival in France for December 2022 alongside Canal+. The chain has indeed been chosen as the official broadcaster, recovering in passing the enticing catalog of the company. Among the films and series it contains, we find in particular the future Halo series.

In fact, the group owns Paramount+, a streaming service that made its debut in the United States and was still waiting to see it arrive in France. The wait is now coming to an end. On its website, Paramount, of its new name, announced a partnership with Canal+thus confirming its forthcoming availability in France.

Paramount+ and its Halo series will soon be available in France

It will therefore be in December 2022 that the streaming service will make its arrival in France. Like Disney+ in 2019, the latter chose Canal+ to expand its distribution. Thus, subscribers to Cine Series package will enjoy unlimited access to the platform. On the other hand, a subscription to Canal+ will not be necessary to view Paramount+ content. Just like its competitors, it will be enough to go to the site or to download the application on smartphone or tablet.

It’s a real gamble for Canal+, which offers content from Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon Junior, Nickelodeon Teen, MTV, Paramount Channel, Game One, J-One, BET and Comedy Central. At the same time, the channel will also be the official broadcaster of the Halo serieswhich was unveiled in a first trailer last December and which is particularly awaited by fans of the saga.

The latter is also arriving very soon on our airwaves, since it will be launched next March 24. As for Paramount films, it will therefore be necessary to wait 6 months before viewing them on Canal+.
