The pocket monster saga will be in the spotlight next November with a new title accompanied by its special console.
Gamefreak and Nintendo seem to be betting everything on the latest opus to date of the license Pokemon. After Legends: Arceus, the next game is inspired by this experimentation of a more open world to offer an unprecedented experience for a main title. Linear gameplay is replaced by an open-world adventure, offering three different scenarios that will take budding trainers to all corners of the Paldea region. These new stories showed their first snippets in a short trailer unveiled yesterday, but that wasn’t the only surprise Nintendo had on hand…
A special edition all found
With the return of a game Pokemon with a colorful theme, the versions Scarlet and Purple will have the right to their own OLED Switch in the colors of this adventure. Nintendo is therefore abandoning the limited editions of Switch Lite in favor of the latest model, which is far from surprising. We thus find joy-cons in the colors of the game, accompanied by a dock representing the legendary Koraidon and Miraidon, and a Switch embellished with a charming look stickers as possible. It is already possible to pre-order this limited edition console from Micromania and other retailers should soon follow suit.

As a reminder, Pokemon Purple and Scarlet version will be available from November 18. For the first time in the history of the franchise, it will be possible to forge your own course, and to survey the region in the order of your choice. This major change will also be accompanied by a cooperative multiplayer mode allowing you to discover the secrets of Paldea alongside your friends. Small revolution or not, we will have to wait another two months to find out if the franchise finally manages to reinvent itself. Waiting, Splatoon 3 arrives this week on Nintendo Switch and should be able to occupy the most impatient players for a while.
