Rainbow Six Siege join the underworld Yakuza
It is next May 24 that the bundle Yakuza will be available for players of Rainbow Six Siege on PC and consoles. It’s certainly not the game’s first crossover with a Japanese industry classic. Last year it was license resident Evil which had its own DLC in the multiplayer TPS. But see Yakuzaa game significantly different in gameplay and tone, it’s a definite surprise.
The trailer posted online allows you to discover the look of these two skins. The first is for the Echo operator, and takes the design of Kiryu Kazuma, the protagonist of the first six games of the Yakuza franchise. He is dressed in his matching white suit and red shirt, and equipped with an assault rifle resembling the Dragon tattoo worn by the character in the SEGA games.
As for the second skin, it is specially designed for the operator Hibana, a follower of the frontal attack. Here she uses the suit of Kaoru Sayama, a detective in the Osaka crime squad, one of the main characters in Yakuza 2. A third and final skin is also teased at the end of the video. Always intended for Echo, the silhouette makes it possible to discern the character of Goro Majima, the head of the lunar family of the saga. This last skin should arrive shortly after those of Kiryu and Kaoru, without further information.
Franchise Yakuza is also no stranger to collaborations with other games. Last year, Kiryu and his whole gang were invited to the fighting game Virtua Fighter 5 from SEGA in a costume pack for the cast of fighters. Until one day, who knows, the arrival of the big-hearted gangster in tekken 6.
