This November 15, the Realme GT NEO 2 smartphone will be launched, which aims to position itself as the best performing mid-range.
After its Realme GT and GT Master Edition, the Chinese brand is backing up with an attractive new smartphone, the Realme GT NEO 2. As with its predecessors, the motto adopted by Realme is to offer a high-end smartphone, the price less . Once again, the manufacturer strikes hard by arguing that the GT NEO 2 is quite simply the flagship reference of the GT range.
At first glance, we notice its color. This has been soberly baptized Neo Green, which presents, according to the brand “a concept of high technology and vitality”. Unfortunately, the rear end is the only one we can currently enjoy, as the front design has yet to be revealed to the international public. Nevertheless, this is a nice introduction, with an original design but all in finesse.
Besides its bold design, which will not appeal to everyone, the GT NEO 2 has more than performance specs. In particular, it has a 6.62-inch Full HD + AMOLED display, which offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a sampling rate of 600 Hz.
Inside, we will find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 chip, 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage capacity, as well as a huge 5,000 mAh battery. It is of course delivered with Android 11 and the house overlay of Realme UI 2.0. In terms of cameras, there is a main sensor of 64 MP, an ultra wide angle of 8 MP and a macro of 2 MP.
For Realme, the GT NEO range represents “the combination of state-of-the-art specifications as well as a well-crafted flagship experience“. If this idea was already born with the Realme GTs, the NEO range aims all the more at “bridging the gap between high-end smartphones and the everyday user“.
Pricing and availability
The Realme GT NEO 2 will be available for sale on November 15th. The smartphone, already marketed in China, does not reveal its French price for the moment, which will not be long in view of the imminent release date of the device. As a reminder, the Realme GT and GT Master Edition are currently priced at € 399 and € 349 respectively. We should therefore, logically, turn around 400-500 euros for this new smartphone.
