Snapchat+ is the name of a future paid subscription on the social network which will add some features. Tests are underway with a price of €4.59/month or €45.99/year. To see if it will still be these prices when the offer is available to everyone.
“We are currently conducting initial internal testing of Snapchat Plus, a new subscription service for Snapchat users. We are excited to be able to share exclusive, experimental and preview features with our subscribers, and to learn more about how we can better serve our community.”said the social network with The Verge.
The group does not say more, but some people have delved into the code of the application and have been able to discover some new features:
- Pin a friend to declare them as a best friend
- Have access to exclusive Snapchat icons to change them as desired
- Display a dedicated badge on their profile
- See your orbit with your best friend
- See where your friends have been in the past 24 hours (if they have geolocation enabled)
- See how many friends have reviewed your story

The Snapchat+ subscription does not currently have an availability date. Snapchat will in any case not be the first social network to offer a subscription. Twitter already offers its own with Twitter Blue. Recently, the Telegram messenger announced its own premium offer, with a launch this month.
