The PlayStation 5, the DualSense controller and the Pulse 3D headset are getting a new look in a new collection available very soon.
After all a string of bright and very showy colors, here is Sony taking the direction of a more discreet design. Sober without really being so, a camouflage pattern in shades of gray will soon join the other colors of the latest PlayStation console and its accessories. However, the console is already so discreet that it is almost impossible to obtain it, so what is the point of camouflaging it even more? Joking aside, the arrival of a new design is always a pleasure to see and will surely delight some players who are fans of dull and sober colors.
But beware, rather than proposing a simple design, the Sony teams have still thought about their design so that it stands out from the others:
“The design teams at PlayStation have re-imagined our camouflage pattern to convey a fresher, more contemporary feel. If you look closely, you will notice that the iconic shapes from PlayStation have been subtly integrated into the pattern.”
The PlayStation range is evolving
This new range will be available for pre-order from September 15th. The DualSense controller and the plate for the console will arrive on the shelves on October 14, but it will take a little more patience for the Pulse headset which will not land until December. The Gray Camouflage will then join the Galactic Purple, Nova Pink, Starlight Blue, Cosmic Red and Midnight Black accessories that are already available on the official PlayStation website and at select retailers.
However, it is not this little novelty that will pass the pill of the increase in the price of the console. The next-gen console has seen its price soar in the face of inflation. For the moment, the accessories have not increased in price, but there is no guarantee that this will not be the case soon.
