Recently, Sony Interactive Entertainment President Jim Ryan confirmed during his speech at CES 2022 that the company’s next VR headset will be called Playstation VR2. For now, the game developer is keeping the look of this new helmet a secret. However, its technical specifications have already been leaked.
For information, the PlayStation VR2 or PS VR2 will work with the PS5. According to The Verge, these headphones will support haptic feedback, eye tracking, 4K HDR, 90/120 Hz frame rates, foveal rendering, and a 110-degree field of view. Additionally, the headset would connect to the PS5 with just a USB-C cable.

Separately, the president of Sony also announced that Horizon Call of the Mountain will be the first big new exclusive title for the PS VR2 headset. Another game, Horizon Forbidden West, will be released in February, but the exact date has yet to be released.
