Decathlon has unveiled the new top-of-the-range reference in its catalog of electrically assisted bicycles. The Stilus E All Mountain is a mountain bike that is not afraid of steep escapades.
Decathlon, well known for its good value for money electric bikes, also offers better equipped and more expensive models. This is the case of the Stilus E All Mountain, the brand’s new high-end representative. For 3,999 €, which is actually not cheap, we will still leave with a two-wheeler capable of devouring the most technical trails.
All comfort on the trail
For its new electric mountain bike, Decathlon has used a 4th generation Bosch Performance Line CX motor, offering a torque of 85 Nm. It provides maximum pedaling assistance of 340%, but its electric assistance will stop after 25 km. /h, as required by European regulations.
Bosch also provides a Powertube battery with a capacity of 625 Wh, which promises up to 5 hours of battery life. The aluminum frame incorporates the battery with lock (a Bosch 6A charger is supplied). The Stilus also includes a Rockshox 35 fork, and front and rear are two 29-inch Vittoria Martello wheels. The SRAM Guide RE hydraulic disc brakes have 4 pistons and are 200 mm in diameter.
The cyclist will be accompanied by a Bosch Purion screen from which he can activate one of the 5 assistance modes offered: Eco, Tour, Tour+, eMTB or Turbo. The screen also displays the battery charge status, speed, range as well as distance traveled and total distance.
Bike weight ranges from 24.6kg to 25.1kg depending on size (four available). It comes with a bell, lights, reflectors and pedals.
