Stranger Things could soon dethrone Squid Game to become the most-watched series of all time on Netflix. The series is now the second series in the streaming giant’s history to surpass one billion hours watched, reports Variety.
Stranger Things 4, the final season of the hit series, just became the second Netflix series to surpass one billion hours watched. Indeed, since the broadcast of the first episode of the season on May 27, viewers have spent 1.15 billion cumulative hours watching all nine episodes of the seasonincluding 301 million hours just last weekend on the occasion of the last two episodes.
