the 3 announcements that marked this Indie World

Here’s a quick recap of Nintendo’s Indie World conference, which showcased some pretty promising games.

Today, Nintendo held an Indie World conference, during which many games were announced. If we hoped to have information on the next Hollow Knight: Silksong, it is not so. But that doesn’t mean the rest of the announcements were disappointing, far from it. We were able to discover some interesting indie games that will soon be released on Nintendo Switch. Here are the 3 announcements that should not be missed!

Soundfall – available today

In the genre of RPGs and action games, Soundfall seems extremely promising, especially since it adds an original twist to a classic gameplay. Indeed, you must fight your enemies in rhythm with the music, which gives the gameplay a frantic pace and an even more entertaining dimension. You can play solo or in co-op, with up to 4 players locally and online.

The big news is that this title will be available to players today on Nintendo Switch. Do not hesitate to consult your Nintendo eShop if you are interested.

Gunbrella – 2023

The second game that marked this edition of the Indie World is Gunbrella. This is a pixel art action adventure game in which you play as a detective, whose path will cross strange creatures in a particularly gloomy world in its genre. Visually, we were seduced by its dark and elaborate atmosphere, so we can’t wait to get our hands on it. However, we will have to wait until 2023 before doing so. Patience !

Another Crab’s Treasure – 2023

Finally, Nintendo ended its conference with the announcement of a particularly original game. Behind its playful tunes for children, Another Crab’s Treasure is actually a soulslike that wants to be both demanding (as tradition dictates) but also accessible. It reminds us of a certain Elden Ring… Despite everything, no knights or monsters in this title, the characters are mainly crabs living underwater, in an environment that also makes us think of Bikini Bottom. See you in 2023 to discover it on Switch.

Besides these three announcements, Nintendo has also lifted the lid on several other games. You can find the full presentation below.
