The most anticipated Bethesda games are postponed (for a good cause)

If you were waiting for these two projects from Bethesda, you will have to be patient before you can discover them.

Whether you want to venture into space or fight vampires with strange powers, we will have to wait until 2023 to experience these new adventures of Bethesda and its studios. Through a simple and sober tweet, the developer announced the bad news of the postponement of not one, but two games that players have been anxiously awaiting for this year:

“We have made the decision to postpone the launches of red fall and Starfield in the first half of 2023. Arkane Austin’s teams (red fall) and Bethesda Games (Starfield) have incredible ambitions for their games and want to ensure that you receive the most complete and perfect versions of them.”

Originally, red fall was slated to arrive on console and PC this summer as Starfield was scheduled for November 11. These games were to mark the arrival in the Game Pass of the first Bethesda games exclusive to Microsoft since the takeover of the studio by the Redmond firm. Only a few months before their release, this postponement is frustrating to say the least, but proves the attention that the studio pays to these games and the desire of the teams to provide an experience worthy of the name (we still remember the fiasco Fallout:76 which stuck in our throats). We invite you to consult our file which deals with the subject.

Little information was available about these two projects, so it’s no surprise to see Bethesda make the decision to push them back. While Starfield promises to be a space exploration adventure with RPG elements honed by the teams behind Skyrim, red fall for its part seems to promise a solo and coop FPS experience similar to what is offered Left 4 Dead Where Back 4 Blood.

However, new information will be coming very soon as the studio states in its tweet:

“We would like to thank everyone for your enthusiasm for Starfield and red fall. This energy is largely the source of what inspires us on a daily basis and carries our enthusiasm for what we create. We look forward to sharing the first in-depth discovery for these two projects.”

See you very soon to find out what he returns from the interstellar adventures of Starfield and the vampire and magic infested world of red fall.
