The first DLC tracks for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe arrive today. Which ones are planned in the program, and how to take advantage of them?
A few weeks ago, Nintendo announced great news to fans of Mario Kart. If some expected the revelation of a 9th game, the firm has instead chosen to bet on a new DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe on Nintendo Switch. This DLC has had the effect of a bomb since it will bring no less than 48 “new” circuits, which are in fact remastered ports of races from all the old games Mario Kart.
Corn for those who thought they had access to the 48 new races at once, it’s missed. They will be split into multiple bursts, so the premiere arrives on March 18, so today! Find out which are the first races to be added and how you can access them.
Two cuts for 8 different races
With this first salvo, players will be able to rediscover legendary circuits, such as the Circuit Toad, the Coco Supermarket or the Corniche Champignon. A total of 8 races are planned and are distributed in two different cups, namely the Golden Turbo Cup and the Maneki-neko Cup. The latter will focus on races inspired by Japanese landscapes. Check out the shopping list below:
Golden Turbo Cup
- Walk in Paris (Mario Kart Tour)
- Circuit Toad (Mario Kart 7)
- Choco Mountain (Mario Kart 64)
- Coco Supermarket (Mario Kart Wii)
maneki neko cut
- Crossing Tokyo (Mario Kart Tour)
- Mushroom Cornice (Mario Kart DS)
