the Star Wars series is entitled to a new trailer… and a report

We will have to wait longer than expected before discovering the adventures of Cassian Andor in his Disney+ series.

After Obi-Wan Kenobi, it’s Cassian Andor’s turn to have his moment of glory on Disney’s streaming platform. The character was introduced in the excellent RogueOnethe direct prequel to Star Wars Episode IV recounting the recovery of the Death Star plans by a commando of heroes. Unfortunately, in just a few hours, the desire to learn more about them sets in, but the format of the film does not leave this chance. And although that makes it its charm for some, the frustration remains present for others.

But never mind, the charismatic Cassian will return to center stage in his own series entitled Andor (simple and efficient !). While a first trailer has already been released on the occasion of Star Wars Celebration 2022 in California, a brand new trailer has just surfaced to promote the series which is coming very soon… But sooner than we thought.

A discrepancy that is not one

The new excerpt broadcast on the show Good Morning America in the United States unveils images that announce a spectacle that is epic to say the least. The same way as RogueOne, series Andor dives into the dark sides of the galaxy far, far away. We discover an empire at the peak of its strength and a terrorized population. The characters seem small compared to the immensity of the ships and other buildings of the all-powerful Empire. We therefore look forward to discovering this series which seems to offer an original vision of the Star Wars universe. Unfortunately, this pretty trailer also comes with bad news for the most impatient fans!

Originally scheduled for August 31, you will have to wait until September 21 to discover these new adventures on Disney +. Indeed, this new trailer changes the game by announcing a three-episode premiere available three weeks after the original release date. The reason behind this sudden schedule change will likely never be known, but it wouldn’t be surprising if it had to do with post-production on the show. Recently, Marvel special effects artists complained about their working conditions and Disney’s treatment. This could therefore have an impact on new projects and in particular Andor being the latest.
