Poco has just formalized the Poco F4 and Poco X4 GT for France. These two smartphones promise powerful performance while remaining accessible.
Young independent brand born from Xiaomi, Poco wants to move up a gear. The firm has just announced the arrival in France of the Poco F4 and Poco X4 GT. The two smartphones do not quite sail in the same category, but they show the same desire to dominate their segment with powerful performance and an affordable price.

Poco F4: an F for flagship killer?
After a gaming-oriented Poco F4 GT, the brand returns with a more classic model. The Poco F4 wants to be the hit of the summer and benefits from a neat technical sheet. Presented as a real “powerhouse”he embarks a Snapdragon 870 engraved in 7 nm. Qualcomm’s SoC benefits from “the highest frequency range for a Poco smartphone, at 3.2 GHz “. In order to take advantage of the power of this chip, Poco adds a vapor chamber as well as 6 to 8 GB of RAM LPDDR5. UFS 3.1 storage fluctuates between 128 and 256 GB.
The device sports a fairly classic design that gives pride of place to its 6.67-inch AMOLED E4 panel. In 20:9 format, it displays in Full HD+ and offers a refresh rate up to 120Hz. The brightness climbs up to 1,300 nits and Gorilla Glass 5 glass protects this HDR10 + and Dolby Vision compatible screen.
Despite generous power and a large screen, the F4 is the thinnest model in the Poco range to date (163.2 x 75.95 x 7.7 mm). On the back of the device, there is three cameras proposing the following configuration:
- 64MP main sensor with OIS (f/1.79, 1/1.2”, 6P, 1.4μm pixel (4-in-1))
- 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle (f/2.2, 119°)
- 2 megapixel (f/2.4) macro lens
At the front, the punched screen reveals a 20 megapixel front camera (f/2.45). This balanced configuration is based on an accumulator of 4,500 mAh and fast charging at 67 W. The manufacturer claims a full charge in 38 minutes.
The Poco F4 is 5G compatible, wifi 6, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2 and has Dolby Atmos speakers.
Poco X4 GT: always more playful
The other announced model is the Poco X4 GT. Beneath its fairly classic smartphone appearance (163.64 x 74.29 x 8.87 mm) for 200 grams; it seeks to convince lovers of mobile games and entertainment. Poco relies on a 6.6 inch LCD screen in 20.5:9 aspect ratio, Full HD+ with refresh rate up to 144Hz.
Inside, a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 animates this Poco X4 GT. This SoC benefits from a TSMC engraving process in 5 nm (compared to 7 nm for the Snapdragon 870); supported by 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. As on the F4, there is a LiquidCool Technology 2.0 cooling system. A 5080mAh battery powers this smartphone, compatible with the charging at 67W. With 6 minutes of charging, it can recover up to 25% battery life and reach 85% after 30 minutes. According to its manufacturer, a full charge takes 46 minutes while MMT (Middle Middle Tab) technology gives the possibility of playing more than 90 minutes with only 10 minutes of charging.
On the photo side, a triple sensor takes place on the back of the Poco X4 GT and the configuration is reminiscent of that of the F4. A 64-megapixel main sensor (f / 1.89) accompanies an ultra wide-angle of 8 megapixels (f / 2.2) and a macro module of 2 megapixels (f / 2.45). For selfies, a 16-megapixel (f/2.45) front camera is present.

Price and availability
the Poco F4 comes in two variants of 6+128 GB at 399.90 euros and 8+256 GB at 449.90 euros. It is available in black (Night Black), silver (Moonlight Silver) and green (Nebula Green). For its launch, the Poco F4 benefits from an immediate discount of 50 euros, from June 27 1:00 p.m. to July 2, i.e. 349.90 euros for the 6+128 GB and 399.90 euros for the 8+256 GB.
As to Poco X4 GTit also comes in two variants of 8+128 GB at 379.90 euros and 8+256 GB at 429.90 euros. Available in black, gray and blue; it benefits from a special introductory offer of – 80 euros, from July 4 at 1:00 p.m. to July 9. Its price is 299.90 euros for the 6+128 GB and 349.90 euros for the 8+256 GB. These smartphones join the X4 Pro 5G and M4 Pro, two smartphones tested by us at the start of the year.
