Thomas Pesquet finally has a date of return to Earth

After 6 months in space, Thomas Pesquet is about to return to Earth. The return was initially set for Sunday, November 7, but the capricious weather decided otherwise. French astronaut Thomas Pesquet along with the three other crew members Akihiko Hoshide, Shane Kimbrough and Megan McArthur will leave the International Space Station late on the night of November 8-9. SpaceX’s Dragon capsule is expected to hit Earth at 4:33 a.m. KST. The crew of CREW 2 joined the ISS on April 24.

During his long stay aboard the ISS, Thomas Pesquet will have carried out no less than 4 spacewalks and nearly 200 scientific experiments on behalf of European, American, Canadian and Japanese space agencies.
