You are fully vaccinated, or not yet, and you plan to go abroad, go to the cinema without a mask or go out to a restaurant or bar. You will absolutely need the vaccination pass. We explain how to download it and always have it with you.
Update of January 24, 2022 : From this Monday, January 24, 2022, the vaccination pass (instead of the health pass) is compulsory for people over 16 wishing, for example, to go to a restaurant or take the train.
This is indeed an official document to download and print that will allow you to take transport or go to a restaurant, for example. However, it is preferable to consult the conditions of access specific to each country to find out about the latest health decisions.
When to use the health pass?
Since January 24, 2022, the places subject to the vaccination pass will be almost the same as those where the health pass applied.
It will be requested for places of culture, such as performance halls; museums and monuments; amusement parks; stadiums, sports halls and sports establishments (except school sports or in certain other specific cases); libraries; cinemas; nightclubs, bars, cafes and restaurants, including on terraces; casinos and other gaming rooms (bowling, game area, etc.); professional fairs, shows and seminars; inter-regional public transport such as trains and domestic flights; campsites, hotels and holiday clubs (unless they only offer accommodation); cruises and boats (from 50 passengers); ski lifts; weddings, but only if they take place in a place accessible to the public; and department stores and shopping centers of more than 20,000 m2 only by decision of the prefect, “when their characteristics and the seriousness of the risks of contamination justify it”.

How to download your European certificate / vaccination pass?
- Go to the Health Insurance website or the application to upload your vaccination certificate against Covid-19.
- Identify yourself with your FranceConnect account or your Ameli credentials. If you have done your two doses correctly, you can print the document or download it in PDF format.
- If you have the TousAntiCovid application, scan the QR Code displayed. Your European health pass will then be added to your digital vaccination “Carnet”, alongside your PCR or antigenic test results and your French health pass.
