Netflix has great news for fans of The Witcher series who are eagerly awaiting season 3.
Budding witchers can rejoice, The Witcher season 3 is on solid track. On Twitter, the production announces that the filming of this new round of episodes is officially over, after several months of work. Indeed, the season had started last April, so it has been about five months of filming. After this intense period, Henry Cavill himself wanted to thank the technical team behind the series.
“What a season it has been! I just wanted to thank you all for your determination and dedication during a difficult shoot. I hope you can all take a well deserved rest.”
Season 3 ofhas wrapped filming, and Henry Cavill left a nice message to the cast and crew ❤️

But it is not this message that will bring us more information on the content of the season. We still remind you of the synopsis of season 3 which was shared a few months ago, in April, when production began:
“As the continent’s monarchs, mages, and creatures battle to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri on board to hide her, determined to protect his new family from those who would destroy her. Yennefer, who has been entrusted with the training of the young girl, decides to take her to the fortress of Aretuza where she hopes to discover more about her powers. Instead, they find themselves at the heart of a political, magical, cheater-populated battlefield. They have to fight back, do everything they can to avoid losing each other.”
We also don’t know when we will be able to discover these episodes, but it seems that the rhythm of one season every two years suits Netflix, so we should have news within the next few months. Let’s also not forget that the spin-off series The Witcher First Blood is expected for the end of the year, without further details on the date. No doubt we will have details during the Netflix Tudum on September 24.
