who is the character who invites himself in episode 3?

Did we see an important character from the Daredevil universe in the new episode of Hawkeye on Disney +?

It’s Christmas already on Disney +. For the holiday season, the SVOD platform is broadcasting a new Marvel series, this time dedicated to Hawkeye. The third episode has just been unveiled, and it is full of clues about the next adventures of the archer and his apprentice Kate Bishop. We debrief.

Wilson Fisk shows the end of his sleeve

It was only a matter of time. After the cancellation of Marvel’s Daredevil on Netflix, and with the launch of Disney +, the Defenders universe was preparing behind the scenes for its arrival in the MCU. If Matt Murdock remains in the shadows, he could soon afford a first appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Figurehead of the universe developed by Netflix, the character should come to the aid of Peter Parker after the revelations of Quentin Beck on his true identity. But the character played by Charlie Cox is ultimately not the first to appear in the MCU.

Echo’s arrival in the series is no surprise to anyone, especially since the character has just been offered a series on Disney +. But it is above all another character linked to his universe that captured the attention of the spectators. Indeed, the fate of Echo in the comics is intimately linked to that of Wilson Fisk. On paper, she was working for the Kingpin when she first faced Daredevil.

In the series, we quickly understand that it is not she who pulls the strings of the organization. It could therefore be Wilson Fisk, who would again be camped by Vincent D’Onofrio. This black suit is not fooling anyone, not even the actor’s statements on Twitter. We are therefore almost certain to find it again next week on our screens. A few weeks before the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, the timing is perfect.

Clint Barton will find a character from his past

We told you last week, Kate Bishop’s stepfather is obviously not an altar boy. This new episode has confirmed it, since a clash between Clint Barton and Jack Dusquesne is announced. In the comics, the character worked in the same circus before Hawkeye joined SHIELD Dusquesne meanwhile followed a less virtuous path by engaging in organized crime. He will nevertheless choose to ally with the Avengers in the battle against Kang the Conqueror. We can imagine that this is the same path that will be taken by the plot of the Disney + series.

Who is Kazi in the comics?

Echo’s right-hand man is no stranger to comic book readers. He first appeared in 2013 in Hawkeye (volume 4) # 8. He left his country after his family was killed during an armed conflict. He will then become a mercenary and work for the Kingpin, calling himself the clown.

See you next Wednesday on Disney + to find out what the 4th episode of the series has in store for us. Things should accelerate even further when we are already starting the second part. Because like Loki and Falcon and The Winter Soldier, the first season is only made up of six chapters. It will therefore be necessary to take advantage of it while it lasts.
